Colonic Therapists Training Information

Colonic hydrotherapy training to this high standard, has been and will continue to be taught in the U.K. as a postgraduate course only to suitable persons.

Education

Suitable students will either be; Trained in conventional medicine (e.g. be a doctor or nurse). Or be graduates of a recognised body based complementary medicine course, (which must include in-depth anatomy and physiology). A pass certificate must be held and submitted for evaluation during their application for acceptance onto a course. The Anatomy and Physiology course must have included. Skeletal system, Muscular System, Structure of the skin, Functions of the skin, Vascular system, Lymphatic system, Neurological system, Endocrine system, Respiratory system, Digestive system, Genito-urinary system, and Reproductive system.

Students should also have the equivalent of 2 years full time experience in practising a body based therapy.

The college will not teach persons who do not meet these basic requirements.
